On Wednesday, August 1, at 7:30 p.m., the Sogkonate Garden Club will sponsor a program entitled: “Insects, the Good, the Bad and the Beautiful” at the Little Compton Community Center. Kim Calcagno of the Audubon Society of RI will discuss how to attract beneficial and beautiful insects to the garden and how to safely discourage the unwanted and harmful ones. The presentation is free and open to the public. The Sogkonate Garden Club is a member of the RI Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc.
