Have some amicable conversation while you walk! This walking group, lead by Laura Dropps, starts at scenic Fogland Beach and is part of Amicable Congregational Church's seven-week Mind, Body, Spirit 2013 program. (Some participants will be using the walking group as training for Amicable's 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, April, 6 2013.)
Location: Group will meet at the hut near the entrance of Fogland Beach.
Dates/Times: Saturdays, 9 am, Feb. 16-Mar.30, 2013

More About Fogland Beach
Fogland Beach and Recreation Area is located in south Tiverton off Fogland Road and Puncatest Neck Road. It is considered a great location for windsurfing, with spectacular views of the Sakonnet River and the Portsmouth shoreline. The cove area to the north of the beach is useful for nature study.
During summer the beach has lifeguards and there is a fee to park. It includes toilets, trash recepticals, showers, a children's playground, a picnic area and benches. Hiking and fishing are also permitted at Fogland Beach. The beach is overseen by the Tiverton Recreation Department.
