I worry that a water park, or amusement park or something like it, will bring in more people thatRead Moredo not have much money to spend in the community, then more low-end chain restaurants around it, which will kill the few independents Tiverton has left. I know it smells like snob-zoning, but I'm kind of guilty of being a fan of it. Maybe if it was on a small scale, it might not be so bad, but not sure if that would be a draw. Can anyone point to successes of a business like that that did not result in a Route 6. Also, what about the health issues associated with an indoor water park? Don't know much about water parks since they don't appeal to me -- too many kids :)

There are also plants you can put in you garden that will ward off pest and such that other plantsRead Morea re susceptible to. Marigolds are great for attracting bee's for pollination. When you take an EMT course and you have completed it you are in "my opinion and others" Read More35 % of what it takes to become a good EMT. The remaining % will come from experience in the field and that goes regardless of public or private service. The majority of EMT's will find employment with a private service for several reasons like, lower pay and high turnover. When I say high turnover I mean as an EMT becomes more experienced he or she will usually go to some form of a municipal service with higher pay and benefits. Besides less experienced EMT's learning on you at a lower pay scale you need to ask what else has been purchased or acquired by for profit companies, equipment, vehicles (definitely) etc.. This is how for profit companies, you or I and anyone else would keep cost "cha ching" down to increase profits. Another problem with this type of system is frequent turnover of EMT's along with EMT's being constantly shifted around so they never really get a good understanding of roads, buildings or the frequent callers for medical aid and the specific problems they may have.
