Programs like Social Security and Medicare designed to help people in their elder years are in insolvency as more is collect and less is payed in. Add to that a projected twenty trillion dollar national debt by 2016 and this nation is ruined. Social programs were designed to help people in need and they are needed. The waste and fraud that has plagued the system continues as I read another group was caught stealing millions from the taxpayers. If the fraud isn't bad enough, Congress over the years spent the surpluses. Once that ran out they started to borrow from other nations. Now that we can't borrow anymore they print money with the promise we will pay it back at some point in the future. We all know what happens to people who pay their credit cards with another credit card. Our nation is no different in that we won't ever be able to pay it back and support the programs designed to help our elderly. So the kids today will pay and pay but never receive the services they paid for. Do the math and you'll see what I mean. Reagan increased the national debt by over 250% in less than 8 years time with no active wars. Bush Read MoreSr. increased the debt another 66% in just 4 years with no ongoing wars, Bush Jr. increased the national debt another 90% in 8 years when he inherited BUDGET SURPLUSES, and no wars. When Bush left office he left behind massive new debt, no jobs, a major recession, two wars, and growing national debt. But then the tea party comes along and wants it to all go away. They want the country to stop spending money at a time when unemployment is growing. Show me a single time in history, just one, when the US was spending less money during a recession. It doesn't happen. As people are out of work the government takes in less in taxation. This is not the time to reduce government spending which will drive the country into a depression. The tea nuts know NOTHING about economics and how it works. They are like little children throwing a temper tantrum.

Joe's latest post is typical Tea Party B.S. The post has nothing to do with the topic at hand. JoeRead Morei s simply using the Faux News approach which is to change the topic when the facts can't support your opinion. I am sure he plagiarized the information from someone else.

There are also plants you can put in you garden that will ward off pest and such that other plantsRead Morea re susceptible to. Marigolds are great for attracting bee's for pollination. My mother puts beer in a saucer around the garden and slugs go to it and drown and die because of the salt in it. (Salt dissolves slugs really cool) lol
