DOT/RITBA are having public meetings about the proposed toll on the Sakonnet River Bridge: Monday, December 3rd, 7 pm, PHS Auditorium. Tuesday, December 4th, 7 pm, THS Auditorium. We ask all concerned citizens to attend and tell officials the affect a toll would have on individuals, businesses, tourism and the economy.

There are several efforts underway to stop the tolls. As an individual, the best way to help stop the proposed toll is to send a letter by regular mail. Many local East Bay elected officials are on record against the tolls. However, you are welcome to write or email them. Their contact info is at www.donttoll.com.
