What's Your Take On Paul Ryan as VP Candidate?

The Huffington Post reported that both liberals and conservatives will be “thrilled” with presidential candidate's Mitt Romney’s choice. What's your take?

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney recently decided on a fiscal conservative member of the House of Representatives as his running mate in the 2012 election.

Romney announced he has chosen Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan as his running mate for the November election Saturday morning.

He titled the announcement as “Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan: America’s Comeback Team.”

U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan is in his seventh term in Congress representing Wisconsin’s First Congressional District.

The 42-year-old is also a chairman of the House Budget Committee. Last year, he proposed a counter budget titled “Roadmap for America’s Future," which he said would eliminate the federal deficit over a multi-year period.

Democrats and liberals derided the budget, however, saying it focused more on cuts to spending for social programs and less on tax cuts for the wealthy.

The Huffington Post reported that both liberals and conservatives will be “thrilled” with Romney’s choice.

Do you think Mitt Romney made the right choice in choosing Paul Ryan as his running mate in the 2012 presidential race? Tell us in the comments below.

Excellent choice. And yet, a lot of work ahead.

A dangerous, extreme right-wing, polarizing choice, sure to drive away the last of the moderate GOP constituents, which, apparently, was the motive all along.

Good luck with that.

I would call it bold and thats what is needed for the financial recovery and change in the present socialistic atmosphere planted by this administration.

I live in southeastern Wisconsin and Paul Ryan is a man that we know well here. He is an honest, get-things-done congressman with so much integrity. We can't go down the same road for another four years. It already will take many years to get this wonderful Country back where it should be, prosperous with people making their own way. The entitlement mantra has to end!

I do not think this will hurt the GOP in anyway and in fact will bring the GOP together. It will also bring in moderate and conservative Democrats to vote for Romney/Ryan ticket as they are not happy with President Obama and his bobble head VP Biden especially in the South. In reality, Biden is more of a detriment then a help to that ticket. Ryan will bring out the conservative GOP to vote where they may not have before. I think there will be A change in Foggy Bottom come November.
