On Sunday afternoon, town and school officials in both Tiverton and Little Compton made the decision to cancel school on Monday, Oct. 29 due to the impending hurricane.
Tiverton Middle School will be used as a temporary shelter for anyone in need beginning at 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Hi Cathy, no pets are allowed at public shelters so you will need to make other arrangements for your animals if you plan to evacuate here.
