Thursday: Flood Advisory, Tiverton Police Pension Board and Opening Night For 'Fame'

Taking a look at Thursday, May 10.

 

1. The rain should continue into Thursday morning and be heavy at times, with a flood advisory issued, according to the National Weather Service. There will also be patchy fog and steady temperatures of 55 degrees.

2. The Tiverton Police Pension Board of Trustees meets at 2 p.m. at Town Hall.

3. The Little Compton Town Council meets at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.

4. It's opening night for 'Fame - The Musical' beginning at 7 p.m. at the high school. Tickets are $10 at the door.

5. Today in 1924 J. Edgar Hoover is appointed director of the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigaton and remained there until his death in 1972.
