TELL US: How Have You Changed Since September 11?

Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.

Today marks the 11th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington D.C. that killed nearly 3,000 people and shocked Americans across the country. As a reminder of this day, we wanted to give you some space to share your thoughts with the community.

Maybe you were in New York City, Washington D.C. or Pennsylvania on that day or, perhaps, your friends or family were. Maybe you were right here in the Witch City.

Wherever you were, we're sure you remember Sept. 11, 2001, and the impact it has had on our country.

We want to know — Do you remember where you were when you found out about the attacks? Did Sept. 11 change you? What are your thoughts now, 11 years later? How have you changed since that day? How do you think it changed the status quo Tiverton and Little Compton?

Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.

Remember to keep it clean. If you violate our terms of use (check it out here) your comment will be deleted and your account may be suspended. If you have the urge to use profanity, an asterisk "*" will not suffice. Please find another way to make your point so we can keep the forum a place where all are comfortable sharing and conversing about Tiverton and Little Compton.

Remembering that day and seeing how people came together . For a brief moment we were all on the same page. Flags flew on every ones property .
Since that day over a million deployments to the middle east with some of our armed forces members serving for 3 and 4 deployments.
My respect for the young men and women has grown . My sorrow for those who died in the action has grown as well.
I honor our veterans and support their cause.
