• THE PENNFIELD SCHOOL MAYFAIR
  Where/When: The Pennfield School, 110 Sandy Point Ave., Portsmouth, RI, May 15, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  Why Go: MayFair transforms Pennfield’s campus into a hub of inflatables, face-painting stations, gourmet food tables and traditional fairground games that welcome the community to a spring extravaganza.
  Price: Free admission to the fair. There is also a silent auction.
• FAMILY SWIM AT RWU
  Where/When: Roger Williams University, 1 Old Ferry Rd, Bristol, RI 02809, May 15, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  Why Go: Roger Williams University offers the community the use of its pool for family swim on Sundays. The pool is located in the Recreation Center on Campus. Children 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult with a maximum of 4 children under 12 per one adult. Ages 13 & up can use the pool without an adult.
