Gannets pelagic birds more commonly seen way off shore follows schools of small fish breeds in the North Atlantic can be recognized from a distance by the black tips on the wings and the undulating flight ( gulls do not undulate in flight) storms drive birds inland and they die of exposure and exhaustion resembles the Boobies of which they are related
