PHOTO: Shake Your Tail Feathers

These wild guinea hens were spotted shaking their tail feathers on West Main Road in Little Compton on Tuesday.

Do you like to take pictures? Have you recently captured a shot of something neat in town?

Middletown Patch Editor Olga Enger sent in an a festive shot of some wild guinea hens cavorting near the scene of a Little Compton car crash on Tuesday. It's been posted as our new Facebook Timeline banner photo.

Have you seen any turkeys? Send us your favorite shot from around Tiverton and Little Compton and it could become ourPhoto of the Day!

E-mail photos and a few sentences with information including when the photo was taken, where it was taken and who is in it, to Tiverton@patch.com or post it to our Facebook page.

An earlier version of this story misidentified the guinea hens, Local Editor Erin Tiernan is clearly new to the wonders of farm country. Thanks for the clarification guys!
