I NEVER see Little Compton School Committee meetings posted on this page. There is an important meeting this week. I do not understand the lack of transparency when there is so much to consider this year. Please attend this meeting!!!

I sent this to the editor over the weekend:
Little Compton School Budget Workshop Meeting
Parents and community members, please attend the Little Compton School budget workshop that will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 5:30 at Wilbur & McMahon School in the commons. School Superintendent Kathryn Crowley will submit a proposed budget to the School Committee at this workshop meeting. Important items such as teacher salaries and special programs will be discussed by the school committee in preparation for a vote on the budget which is scheduled to take place at the next School Committee meeting on Wednesday, February 6 at 7:00pm at Wilbur & McMahon School.
I am not sure if has been posted or not.

Good luck getting The Patch to respond to you, make a correction to the many inaccurate posts, write more real news, or get involved in the community. They're asleep at the wheel.
I've posted the event for you. However, you can post the event yourself by following the "Post your own event" link in the middle of the right-hand column of the Patch home page. The event will need to be approved by the editor. You're probably better off posting it yourself since Patch will most likely mess up the details, as evidenced by the past four restaurant review requests they're posted.
