Why does Patch no longer cover Tiverton Town Council meetings? There is a major problem with an illegal landfill in our watershed. No coverage on the landfill or the meeting. Why???

The Eagleville Rd Site Ready is taking trash from the city of Fall River. There is lots of illegal activities on the property.

Doc it is a demolition disposal facility proposed for Eagleville Rd. They would grind the waste up and ship it to a dump out of state. It will never happen . No way the planing board approves it.

Why are there city of Fall River garbage trucks frequenting the property now? There is no permits in place for that in our watershed.

They are composting . They mix the leaves and ground up wood with soil to make loom. I don't know if a permit is needed or if they have one. The building Inspector is working to investigate the situation. I guess we will hear about it soon enough.
