Randal S. Poirier, ChFC, Financial Planner and Little Compton resident, is training for his first 100-mile Best Buddies Challenge on June 2, 2012 in Hyannis Port, MA. Mr. Poirier will ride on the John Hancock race team, representing Independence Financial Partners. Last year the John Hancock team was the largest fundraiser and the fastest team for Best Buddies International, a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
