Little Compton Police: DUI, Warrants And Larceny

Tiverton Man Arrested For DUI at Two-Times Legal Limit

Adam Lambert, 30, of 192 Hurst Lane, Tiverton, was arrested on Sunday, July 1 at 12:24 a.m. and charged with driving under the influence. After police stopped Lambert for a motor vehicle infraction on Crandall Road, officers smelled the odor of alcohol coming from inside of his vehicle. After performing field sobriety tests and failing them, he was arrested and charged. At the station, he took the breathalyzer and was nearly two times the legal limit.

  • William Munson, 35, of Warwick, was arrested on Wednesday, June 27 at 7:04 p.m. on a warrant after Little Compton Police stopped the car he was driving on West Main Road. According to reports, police discovered Munson's warrant for nonpayment of court fines during a computer check. He was arrested and later arraigned. 
  • Mark B. Hassan, 19, of 745 Union St, Portsmouth, was arrested on Saturday, June 30 at 8:14 a.m. on a warrant. Police stopped Hassan on Meeting House Road and subsequently discovered a warrant for not appearing for an arraignment in court. He was arrested and later arraigned. 

Viewing Deck Stolen From Sakonnet Vineyards

The owners of Sakonnet Vineyards reported on Thursday, June 28 at 12:36 p.m. that someone stole an 8-foot by 8-foot deck off of their property. The deck was erected for viewing the land for sale on West Main Road.
