Little Compton Police: Bench Warrant, Home Break and Dundery Book Sign Kicked Over

Penny J. Jerdin, 40, of 38 Main Road, Westport, MA, was arrested at 9:55 a.m., Saturday, April 28. She was taken into custody based on an outstanding bench warrant for failure to appear in Second District Court. She was pulled over for not wearing her seatbelt.
Home break reported
A Sakonnet Trail resident reported to police at 6:05 p.m., Tuesday, April 24 that sometime during the day his home was broken into and items were stolen. Police are investigating.
Dundery Brook sign knocked over
A person came into the Little Compton Public Safety Complex at 5:50 p.m., Friday, April 27 to report that someone kicked over the wooden post on the walkway leading to Dundery Brook off of Meeting House Lane.
A Grange Avenue resident came into the station at 12:22 p.m., Friday, April 27 several pieces of jewelry missing from her home sometime within the past two weeks.
