Jim L, you do realize that Rep. Langevin does not represent Tiverton or any other community in the East Bay.

Yes JAT but there are towns upstate that have petitions going against the tolls also, one woman in Providence is just short of a thousand signatures , So this fight is not just limited to Newport county, many folks from upstate work or go to Newport county quite often, something the general assembly seemed to have overlooked , I don't just deal with just local on here Jat, I, we, us will take help anywhere we can find it, it still grows everyday and it,s now a 2 day deal to get to petitions pick them up and replace them, Others are meeting, talking, organizing getting ready to have a more public appearance, all this is on our own dime JAT,we believe this whole idea will have a BAD economic effect on everyone in Newport county

Having residents who live in other parts of the state sign the petition is a good thing since these signatures can be presented to members of the General Assembly and Governor. With that said, asking Rep Langevin is not going to help the cause to end the tolls.

The Petition they are signing is not the one we have jat, they started ones on their own, and Talking to any elected offical can help this cause, if any federal money was spent on this bridge then tolls musy be approved on a federal level, and i do exspect tha Mr Langevin and his opponant will be asked this. I think anyone running for any Public office in Newport county will be asked about this. I think it's the biggest thing to hit Newport county since the Navy pull out, When i drive thru the middletown indy park and see all the Ma. plates there, when i,m driving down East or West main rd early so i can get to the diners and coffee shops i have to figure about 95% of the folks on rt 24 with me are going to work, I like you and others could drive around the tolls all day long? What if Raytheon or Nusc gets an aditude and just leaves?Could happen Chaffee dad pulled an entire fleet out of here, i could go on and on about the stories i hear, not one of them good, I and other do not except that thr Ri bridge folks need 24 million dollars from a 2 million dollar bridge, Thats the maintance figure for the new bridge, can you say mismanagement? no oversite? and every signature and bussinessi we get counts as a voice heard that this well harm us all, but make no mistake, there are those who still work against this, who say we are wasting time, it's still a done deal, we know who they are, . just remember. have you seen anyLNG tankers around lately?

JIM L can you provide any more info to support your claim that the Mass government will be joining in the no tolls fight. How will the names on the petition be validated. The one I signed had Bruce Lee, Wang Chung, and Jethro Joe Bodine signed to it.

Jim L how will the signatures be validated. In order for a petition to mean anything the folks upstate would probably like to know that those who signed it are real and are residents of the state. You also stated that Mass was going to get involved for some reason. Why is that and how will they be getting involved?

So what were trying today Jim l is that you lied about the mass gov getting involved and have no idea how the signatures will be counted or verified. You would have more creditability in this issue if you would atop making stuff up.
