Tiverton Hit and Run Victim Dies
The Tiverton man was removed from life support this week. Police are still seeking the vehicle involved.
Tiverton police reported this week that the man injured in a hit-and-run accident at Main Road and Hilton Street on Nov. 23 has died.
John Kieron, 70, of Tiverton, was removed from life support this week.
Detectives continue to investigate and are asking for the assistance of witnesses or anyone who might have information to contact police at 401-625-6716.
Police are searching for a vehicle, possibly a light colored four door sedan. The vehicle sustained damage to the passengers’ side mirror and possibly the passengers’ side. The accident is under investigation by Tiverton Detectives Brendan McKinnon and Daniel Martin.

This is so sad. :'( What kind of sick human being could live with themselves after something like this? Do the right thing.. Turn yourself in! The least you could do is give this man's family some closure!

So sad. How can someone live with themselves knowing what they did. An accident is and accident but not turning yourself in just makes yourself guilty. This man is/was someone's husband, father and grandfather. Please do the right thing, turn yourself in.
