Two local programs are listed among more than 200 aftershool programs across the state that are endorsed by the Rhode Island Afterschool Plus Alliance (RIASPA) on a specially-made Google map.

In a press release issued this week, RIASPA announced the online map, which provides detailed information about each program.

Programs around Tiverton and Little Comptons are:

• The Sakonnet Early Learning Center, 752 East Road, Tiverton.
• The Little Compton Community Center's After School Program, 34 Commons, Little Compton.
• Moves After School, Inc., 35 Dyer Ave., Portsmouth.

On its web page For Parents, RIASPA also offers a site visit checklist for parents to use when considering a program, as well as links to helpful sites and a feedback feature.
