Mr. Lipe, I commend you for the announcement about posting a letter for Dave Nelson. I am not sure why he is saying he didn't do so, but you sir have told the truth concerning this issue.

Thank you for coming out of the closet, Jim. In the name of transparency (and since we were caught) we encourage all ghostwriters and participants in the fraudulent letter writing campaign to come out of the closet.

Jim L, the Newport Daily News published a story last week regarding the septic system. According to the story, DEM wanted additional tests performed before they approve the final plan. Apparently since DEM wants more testing they will be extending their deadline.

A bigger concern is the Bricks since the High School is under scrutiny . The Building Inspector will not allow it to open in the fall with out the repairs.

Jat we both read the same article, but all i read was that the nitrogen levels were bad or not within levels, something like that, nowhere did i see a mention of DEM extending the deadline, if you got it please show it, just wondering where the deal stood, and the bricks must be done, will the septic money be set aside just for that if it is not done this year?all fair questions which do need an answer

Jim it looks like the septic project will be put off for a year while DEM get's it's ducks in order.
This is business as usual with the RI. DEM.
