Congratulations to the following 14 students who were inducted into the Tiverton High School National Honor Society, Sakonnet Chapter, on Nov. 2, 2011.

Principal Steven M. Fezette began the candle lighting ceremony by lighting the Candle of Knowledge. Candles representing the characteristics were lit by Katherine Karzenski representing Leadership, Travis Doumaney representing Service, Hayden Souza representing Character, and David Perry representing Scholarship. Additional inductees were Colby Alveraz, Micaela Barcelou, Ashley Destremps, Abigail Johanning, Megan Kelchner, Kara Lotz, Geoffrey McNally, Rebecca Medeiros, Amisa Patel and Jack Pavao.

Ms. Amanda Riddle, Class of 2005 valedictorian and National Honor Society member was the featured speaker. 

A small reception after the ceremony for inductees and guests was sponsored by the Class of 2013.
