Photographic Portrait artist, Serena Parente Charlebois, of Serena’s Studio, Classic Photography was judged to be the 2011 top photographer in Rhode Island at the Professional Photographers of Rhode Island Convention held in March. This is the third consecutive year, sixth year in total, that Serena has been honored with this prestigious award for her outstanding and creative portrait work of children and families.

Serena’s image entitled “Sugar & Spice” received the award of excellence in the Portrait category. Serena was also awarded the Kodak Gallery award, 2011 Best of Show in the State of Rhode Island and the Golden Print Case Award, for the top score and excellence work in her entire body of work on exhibit.

Serena has owned and run Serena’s Studio, Classic Photography in Little Compton, RI for 21 years. Serena holds a degree in business and is a 1988 graduate of Rhode Island School of Photography. Serena has continued her education and has earned the title of a Professional Photographer of America, Certified, Master Photographer and Photographic Craftsman.
