The Tiverton Garden Club announced its 2012 Scholarship Award recipient. They award a scholarship to a Tiverton High School graduate, and the purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance  to a deserving student who is committed to improving the environment and  giving back to the community.

Katherine Karzenski, a senior at Tiverton High School was awarded the 2012 Tiverton Garden Club Scholarship at the Tiverton Garden Club Luncheon on April 23. Ms. Karzenski has a 3.5 GPA, is 13th in her class, active in extracurricular activities and started a garden club at the high school.
