Community Thanksgiving Dinner at Sandywoods
On Thanksgiving Day last year, Sandywoods offered a free holiday dinner to all who wanted to attend, both Sandywoods residents and folks from the greater community. It was a nice gathering, and people have asked whether we can do it again. The answer is YES!
Break bread with friends neighbors at 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving this Thursday in the Sandywoods community room.
Sandywoods be accepting donations and cooking in the Sandywoods Kitchen all day on Wednesday, 11/21. Email info@sandywoodsfarm.org for further information or if you have any questions.
The most important thing right now is to get a handle on how many people might like to attend. All are welcome - Tiverton residents, family and friends, neighbors, folks who may not have other plans or a place to go for the holiday . . .
To help us prepare, please take a moment and visit this survey link. There are only five super-short questions for you to answer, and it'll really help us prepare for the dinner.
Thanks!

What a nice gesture on the part of the residents. I wonder if Mr. Katz will be attending in order to get to know his fellow residents.

Are you looking for any donations? Anything in particular that you'll be needing?

Hi Renee, we'll have someone in the Sandywoods kitchen at 43 Muse Way all day on Wednesday 11/21 to accept any food that people would like to drop off. Fresh veggies (potatoes, squash) and fruit would be great. We're asking folks who plan to come to let us know using the link at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/722T2YB, so we can get a handle on how much food to prepare. Kitchen helpers on both 11/21 and 11/22 are also welcome!

Another first class comment having nothing to do with the premiss of the post, helping people is helping people, At least Renee offer nothing but pure help

I have to say this group is trying it's best to build a community that gives back to the community . Hope that made sense . I love these type of people . Volunteers make it happen.

Joe-Did you get permission from your handlers over at the TCC to give someone other than Lord Nelson or Prince Robbie credit? Just checking to be sure.
